NEW DATES! FRIDAY, AUGUST 31 - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2007

April 13, 2007

Dear Friends of the Official Indiana State Picking & Fiddling Championships,

It’s time to mark your calendars for the 2007 Official Indiana State Picking & Fiddling Championships coming to the Gibson County Fairgrounds in Princeton, Indiana on August 31 and September 1, 2007.

The Gibson County Visitors & Tourism Bureau is proud to continue the rich tradition of wonderful old time and bluegrass musical entertainment this competition brings. And, new for 2007, we’re thrilled to welcome the Labor Day Association as a partnering sponsor of the Official Indiana State Picking & Fiddling Championships.

For the first time, the Official Indiana State Picking & Fiddling Championships will become a part of the Labor Day Celebration which runs from August 31 – September 3. Now there will be even more exciting things for you and your entire family to do during your visit to Gibson County! Before, during and after the Picking & Fiddling contest, other scheduled events will include a car show, demolition derby, motocross, talent show, antique tractor pulls, a queen contest, carnival rides, and one of the area’s largest parades. A complete list of Labor Day Celebration events can be found at www.labordayassoc.com.

Sincerely,
