April 11, 2014: Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt at Lyles Station

The public is invited to the Night Owl Easter Egg Hunt, Friday, April 11th. From 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on the Lyles Station Historic School & Museum’s grounds in Princeton, Indiana.

Bring your baskets, flashlights, and running shoes for a night of glowing fun! Over 3,000 eggs will be hidden in the dark of night!
Children ages 1-10 will be divided into age appropriate groups to hunt glowing eggs that will be redeemed for candy and prizes. Teens ages 11-17, will search using only their flashlight, for special eggs that will contain candy, gift cards, store certificates and coupons that can be traded for prizes.
The Easter Bunny will be giving away a bicycle to 2 lucky owls!
This event also offers a variety of additional activities including; carnival games, face painting, a Chinese auction, crafts, hot dog roasts and more.
Admission is $5.00 per child.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Saturday, April 12th at the same time.

April 19, 2014: Courthouse Easter Egg Hunt

The Princeton Park and Recreation Dept are presenting the Courthouse Easter Egg Hunt. Saturday April 19, at 9 am. Bring your children or grandchildren up to 8 years of age to hunt eggs and win prizes.

The Hog Roast begins at 12 noon until gone, the Music Fest begins at 2 pm and continues throughout the evening at the Oakland City New Lake.

Advance tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for children age 3-10 yrs. Tickets purchased on June 14 at the gate will be $15 for adults and $10 for kids. A ticket entitles the holder to a meal of roast pork and side dishes, as well as admittance into the music festival.

Advance tickets may be purchased at City Hall, Bridon American, OC Eagles, Taylor's II and the Pike Gibson Water Dept.

A beer garden by the OC Eagles will be open from 11am--11pm. Music will be provided this year by Andrea Wirth, Overboard, No Curfew, Descent, Retro Shock and 1 Man Monster.

Also this year, a Motorcycle Ride and Competition beginning at 8:00 am located at 2205 CR 1350 E, Oakland City

Drivers: $20 in advance/$23 the day of
Riders: $12 in advance/ $15 the day of
Abate members showing their card will receive a $2 discount for the driver.
Both entry fees includes a dinner & entry to the music fest.

August 16, 2014: Thunder On the Square Motorcycle Rally & Swap Meet

Saturday, August 16th in downtown Princeton.

The rally begins at noon and continues until 9 p.m.
Enjoy live music throughout the day, witness the “Missing Man” table ceremony performed by Rolling Thunder and be there for the Lighted Motorcycle Parade at 8:30 p.m

There will be lots of good food, swap meet, motorcycle accessory vendors and more!
