The Great Command
The Great Command was formed in 2013 with the birth of Oakland City University’s Worship Arts Program. The Great Command travels the country leading worship at youth events, church services, and OCU’s annual SoulFest concert. Students have the opportunity to experience traveling, singing, and producing Contemporary Christian Music as well as gaining experience in sound mixing, engineering, and the business aspect of the music industry. Although the style and sound has changed over the last two years as students have come and gone, The Great Command’s mission has always been to share the love of Christ with others through music. Each year, the composition of the group is different, based on the talent that auditions.
